What Time Is It?

Here’s a piece of CRAFT to share!

Materials:
1 ¼ ‘thick wood – the shape will depend on your creativity
Clock kit – can be found in any craft store
Paint
Wood Glue

Choice of words to decorate the face of your clock
**For this particular project, I used ARIAL font - size: 135

Procedure:
1. Paint the wood pieces
2. Print, cut and paste the words on the surface of your clock.

3. Glue the wood pieces together using wood glue.
4. Drill a hole where you want the hands of your clock to be positioned.
** For this particular project the machine “hands” of my clock I bought were gold, I sprayed it with black paint to create contrast.

What time is it?

It is time you enjoy a time piece that projects your personality!

This is original. I will have to try this one too. I do traditional scrapbooking and I guess it won't be difficult for me to do this too. Thanks for sharing.

Oh wow, Pacey, I am into scarpbooking too! So cool to meet another craftista!

Hi Kateri, I hope you can resume your craft-mood and find craft time. I myself get too busy for it, but I try.. :)

Wow!!! This one is so easy to do. I LOVE the color combination.

What did you use to paint the wood pieces? And can I buy these paint in a hardware or in National Bookstore?

Oh and the Book fair was scheduled for Sept 16-20. I hope your former co-teachers knew it beforehand since it's an annual event. Here's the official website: http://www.manilabookfair.com/

Hi Isis, those tiny bottled paint (perhaps in National Bookstore) will do. Here, I just use those $2.00 craft paint -it is that inexpensive to make one! :)

Thanks for the book fair info. You're right, perhaps they've heard about it ahead of me (hehe).

I love it! I wish I'm crafty enough to do this really well but I'm gonna try it with my daughter. Why haven't I thought about this before? You're so creative.

Tes, the clock is wonderful. You are so creative. It's been awhile since I've done any type of craft projects but I might have to give this a try.

The Emperor goose is usually found in northern Alaska or Siberia. Our local aviary has a variety of species.
