It’s a lazy Saturday morning, I was snooping around the blogosphere earlier today when I stumbled upon this photo challenge. I like what they are featuring today, “The Color Purple.” This is the color of my birthstone –for February- Amethyst. I only found out about the challenge today, so instead of new photos, I just rummaged through my archive and found several "purples" -all of which are flowers (taken during our Asia tour last July 2009).

I like your purple post. Such a good variety of flowers, but still containing shades of purple. How can I pick one as a favorite when they are all so good?
