NBA Live

What would men do without sports? I honestly have NO idea. My husband, Doods, is in all types of sports. Am pretty sure he is not the only one (hehe) Actually, I myself love basketball and tennis, but football is a favorite, but er, it's not because of those sweaty men in tight cycling shorts, slapping each others tush! Touche! Oops, did I just say that out loud?! Ok, I like football because of the grilled sausages that go with every game! Yum! For real! *rolls eyes and looks at the ceiling*

Oh well, NBA season is not yet here, but at least football has started. While waiting for the NBA season, Doods and his friends sometimes hang out in our house and play NBA Live via Xbox 360. This mega machine fascinates me, it even has customized avatar that really resembles the player. How cool is that!

I remember when Xbox 360 first came out. There were only limited number of consoles being sold. Game-enthusiasts even camped out the day before it became available to the market. I have no idea what is it about being the first few to own something. We all know eventually it will be available to everyone.

Some of our friends joined the bandwagon and camped out -and that was during winter (brr). But, not us, I did not have the stamina. Besides,we're not in a hurry. There is wisdom in waiting. Instead, we bought ours online. The advantage of getting stuff online is that you are not limited to one store. You get to canvas while you are in your PJs sipping warm chocolate. Some internet shopping search engines do crawling. What does crawling mean? it means, it pulls product listings directly from online stores. The buyer gets to compare the prices. And besides, more products from more stores mean better deals. We were able to get a good deal because we had a chance to shop around and compare.

Some friends came to visit over the weekend

After a sumptuous meal, the men had a blast playing NBA Live at Xbox 360.
Ok, the guys forbade me to post their photos here. . . hahaha. . . sorry guys, this is MY blog!

Doods and Chard and their wireless controller.

This is my hubby's avatar -he looks way cooler here . . . right hon?!

It is a great game console. I'm like you I prefer to do my shopping online so I can check all the stores and find the best bargain.

He does make a great avatar, very cool.

My husband is a huge sports fan too. Not necessarily basketball, but baseball, and football. He will play, and watch Nascar also. I personally love football, Nascar, and baseball ugh I can not even watch them. Way too boring for me.

What a great party you've had, and the XBox 360 added the fun!

Let me tell you a secret.

If you open up the early release of the X-box set, you may find my finger prints inside.

It was a long time back.
