A Walk in the Park

click photo to enlarge

For my second Mosaic Monday, I did something different from the first one. The first one was of our Thailand Trip. That mosaic was vibrant and colorful, hectic and loud just as our adventure was. This second mosaic has photos taken last Friday from our late afternoon walk in the park. When we got home from work, we grabbed our cameras and hit the park for a leisurely snap. I wasn't planning to put it together as my second mosaic, but I was captivated by the calmness of the park and the beauty of the man strolling along the quiet path. I stood back and snapped and what I saw, I liked. . .

Hon, this one is for you. May we have more quiet walks together. . .

Be Like the flower, turn your faces to the sun ~ Kahlil Gibran

Knowing trees, I understand the meaning of patience. Knowing grass, I can appreciate persistence. ~ Hal Borland

One flower makes no garland. ~ Proverb from Romania

I think that I shall never see a tree as lovely as a man. . .

My gratitude to Mary for sharing a lovely site, and posting the know-how, about mosaic making. Thank you, Mary.

Check out other lovely mosaics at the Little Red House.

So true the park looks very calm, makes me want to grab my book, sit on the bench and read all day.

They are stunning. You have a fantastic park, but only a talented photographer like yourself could see the potential of these beautiful shots.

I love the mosaic and the quotes. Also, there is something very moving about the rather limited color palette of greens and browns. Beautiful post!

Your photos of the park and the details from the park are wonderful. I really enjoyed in this peace and serenity. Proverb from Romania says: “One flower makes no garland” and we from here say: “One swallow makes no spring” :-)
Have a nice day!

What a wonderful park, it looks so peaceful and relaxing. I love those beautiful trees lining the walkway, delightful. My favorite is the tree and flower. Mind you I have a vivid imagination but do you see the face in the tree? Your photos are exquisite.

Sorry I am running late is getting over to see you but my own park (backyard) is requiring much attention before winter arrives.

Hugs,
Judy
