Walk, Run, Drive

It's time for The Brenda Photo Challenge once again. We have it every other Saturday. Sadly, I was tied up last Friday -Doods and I watched a concert, two Filipino performers, Gary V. and Martin Nievera were on stage at the Arena. The next day, Saturday, I was looking forward to working on my blog but had several errands to run. So despite the lateness, I would still want to post about my collection of byways and highways. After all, I did work on it over the past two weeks, just didn't get the chance to post on time.

This latest theme was suggested by my friend, Judy. I won't miss this cool challenge, Judy!

Hiking trail at Brazos Bend State Park

Discovery green Park, Houston Texas

On my way to work. My carpool buddy and I take the HOV lane, less congested.

Saw this bend in the neighborhood. It looks appealing, so I included it.

A street in San Francisco (I applied a blurry effect to add drama)

Local train tracks

Trail at the neighborhood park

sharp curve with blurry effects

Golden Gate, San Francisco

Amazing that this beautiful path leads to the correctional. . .

I saw this photo of Doods and I walking in a trail. A friend of ours, Marlon, captured this moment for us. Thank you, Marlon. This was taken during a hike at the Crate of Capulin Volcano (New Mexico)

I had fun with this latest challenge. Better late than never! Can't wait for the next one! Please visit The Brenda Photo Challenge for more byways and highways.

Today is my periodic scan. I do it every three months. Results have been good and am in remission for a while now. Am fighting to keep it that way. But, er. . . I don't like the scan much -awful! Yikes! Please pray that things turn out well. *hugs*

What a nice picture of you and Doods. It makes me smile to see a couple holding hands while walking. How long have you been together? Bob and I celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary last month. We still hold hands while walking :-)

These are great path shots esp those with the trees as canopy. Very intriguing as to where it leads and what I'd find in the end. And good to know everything is ok with your scan. Keep it up. Have a nice weekend Tes.

Hi Tes,

Did you enjoy the concert? I thought so, I didn't know that Gary V and Martin was there for a concert. I just heard them promoting for their concert just recently, anyway the hiking trails looks very inviting, the lush green trees beside the trail enhanced the scenery.

Tes I would like to thank you for casting a vote for me, you made me smile.

Thank you, Cher! The bend appealed to me too. I guess it has something to do with the blue clouds and green meadows.

Hi Linda, thanks! Belated Happy Anniversary *hugs* Doods and I will celebrate our 13th this December. Like you guys, we still hold hands a lot (teehee)

Thanks for dropping by Karen!

Hi Ms Fiddlesticks, some parts can be ouchy (needles) -it sucks! But I won't mind as long as the results are always good! Thank you!

Thank you, Debbie!

Thanks, Pacey!

The concert was really good, Al! They said it was the first time they did a concert together. Louie Ocampo came with them. Am thinking of writing a short blog about it.

Hope you win, girl!

Terrific assortment of highways and byways! I think I like the neighborhood trail (oh, I want to stroll there!) and the railroad tracks (take the fast train to heaven, LOL) the best! They are all wonderful and showcase your creativity.

I hope the test goes well for you! I didn't know that you had been sick, so will see if I can backtrack on your blog to find out more.

Your 'modes of travel' photos are good. I especially like the hiking trails ---and the back, country roads. We are all traveling it seems---most of the time.

Great post.

Dear Blogging Buddies, and very good friends! I came home, from my scan, a bit too late. On our way home, we passed by the Aquarium Parlor (fish store with art workshop) Doods and I allowed ourselves to be entertained by the wonderful, colorful fishes and to enjoy the kids’ artwork -it's a free treat! Teehee. BUT the best treat is coming home to find by comment box brimming with heart-warming compliments and well-wishes!

Blog comments have a way of making my heart swell! It is like coming home to find open arms and warm smiles. I know it sounds so grade-schoolish, but am awfully easy to please!

Scan went well. Results will be read on Tuesday. Thank you dear friends!

It is amazing how quickly our blogging buddies become very important to us - and their little notes and good wishes give that extra boost to our days. I join all of them in sending hugs and good thoughts for nothing but a positive outcome to your scan, Tes.

Great job on the challenge. I love that shot with the sun coming up and the San Francisco shots. They're all wonderful Tes! It was a fun challenge to play with.

Tes, I am so terribly late also. We started having problems with our internet connection on Saturday and worked all day trying to resolve the problem with very little luck. When I did manage to get online and read blogs and try to comment it was taking ten to fifteen minutes to get a comment to post. I just gave up until everything was repaired.

I love these photos, your highways and byways are beautiful. My favorite is the last one with the two of you on the trail.

I hope the results of your test were good, my thoughts are with you.

Hugs,
Judy
