Arthur Storey Park, Houston Texas

.
I am always excited for Tuesday to come because I can share about "my world."

Doods and I explored Arthur Storey Park. It was a leisurely photo walk. Lots of green and a huge pond at the center with ducks, turtles and geese. People can stay at the gazebo to feed the birds.

There are several things that can be done in this park. It provides the grill for barbecue and the huge expanse of green is good for playing soccer, frisbee or just spreading a blanket for a relaxing picnic by the pond. There are a number of jogging trails that are also good for walking your dog.

In the circular paved concrete, there is an area for Tai Chi practitioners. The kids on the other hand, enjoy the huge playground and the park's wildlife.

I was fascinated by these trees, planted with little space in between. Made for a beautiful pattern.

We came across these cute mushrooms.

The gazebo where the kids gather to feed the ducks, turtles and geese.

Those lining trees are way too cool, the planters are quite artistic to have them arranged this way.
