Gazing Out

.

click the photo to enlarge

I had to undergo two major surgeries in an interval of three months. There were discomforts but, ooh, the months of blessed rest (while recuperating) was a huge change having been employed for almost two decades . There were days when I would just sit in my favorite couch and stare out the window. Bliss!

This photo was taken during one of those mornings while I sip hot chocolate, gaze out of the window and eagerly anticipate the beautiful sunrise.

I'm sorry you had to have those surgeries, but I really like this picture. It's very artistic and the silhouette is striking.

Your picture is amaizing. Tears fill my eyes just to think of you being in pain. Being a close personal friend of yours and knowing what a kind soul you are makes me sad to know you had to endure such trials. Those of you that don't get the pleasure of hanging out with the angelic person should know I rarely see her w/out a smile on her face. She welcomes every person that crosses her path. I am truely thankful for my friend that God has led to me.

Love the photo and am glad you have recovered. I do not envy you having to undergo surgery not once but twice. You seem to have such a thankful upbeat attitude which is truly remarkable and admirable where some may have laid around and complained, you found something to be grateful for. I had surgery on my shoulder and woke from the anesthetic screaming out in pain. I am in awe of you. God bless you and thanks for sharing.

I too have had to go through injuries and a surgery this year. It sure has slowed me down, but yes, the rest has been a welcome respite.
Such a beautiful photo, and I happen to be drinking hot cocoa right now :)
