Fun In The Sun

This past week, we have experienced cold front for a couple of days here in Houston. In Arizona, where my sister and her family reside, they have nastier winter with temperature dropping real low. This week they are complaining of snow and a low 13 degrees. It is so cold, my nieces who were born and raised in the tropical Philippines, are having a difficult time adjusting. They arrived here last summer and this is their first winter in America. Am sure in time, they can adjust. But just so it won't be so traumatic to them, this summer, my sister and I are planning to take them on a vacation to the beach.

We are looking into taking them to a beach resort that has amenities for both adults and children. Myrtle Beach Hotel seems to be the place to go. Reasonably priced and it is so easy to book online. We really love the fact that they have oceanfront Myrtle Beach Hotels. But the best attraction for people who are visiting with children is their "prince" an "princess" of the day. The kids get a chance to be treated like royalty with all the proper garb, imperial clothing and even a crown. My sister and I can't wait to see the reaction of the girls when they hear about this.

Just thinking about the beach melts the chill away. Cant wait to ride the waves, walk along the shore in search of starfish or little crabs. Soak in the sun and do all those fun water activities like snorkeling, jet skiing, banana boat ride, inner tubing... and lots more. Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Hotel sure is the place to be this summer.

A vacation at the beach sounds very nice. We just returned home from Florida. Our trip was cut short, though, and we didn't even make it to the beach!
