The holiday have been hectic with shopping and partying. It is a time for reunions with family and friends. Time for giving and receiving. But the best part of the holiday is the eating! Teehee. I am sure I am not the only one who gained weight over the winter break. Both Doods and I gained a few pounds from all the good food and yummy desserts served! Yikes!
Now that the festive mood has subsided, it is time to loose some of that weight. Time to pull out the thread mill and time for Doods to resume his basketball and his biking. He is fond of all sorts of sports but have not tried golf. He has been planning to do it for some time now, but have been putting it off.

Over the holidays, his co-teacher invited him to play golf. He and I wanted to go, but my sister and her family came to visit us from Arizona and they stayed the whole two-week break while school is out, so we were left with no choice but to decline. Doods's co-teacher said it's ok because the best time to go anyway is during Spring, when it's not too cold and not too warm. Actually, we are seriously contemplating a vacation this Spring break.
