Pining for Spring

It's Mosaic Monday once again at Mary's Little Red House. She graciously hosts this event every Monday. Stop by her red house and see what other mosaic makers have done this week.

After a winter as dispiriting as the one we've just endured, spring can't come soon enough, and this mosaic is a promise that better times are on the way. I guess am just too impatient to wait for nature.

May this post invite Spring to come earlier!

These are all fantastic images of spring. Great shots.

Thanks for your visit to my blog. to answer your questions, the figures in the My World post are wood (I believe), and are quite tall. Almost lifesize. Here is a link I found with more information about that style of advertising,
Shop and Cigar Figures in America That article is from another folk art museum but gives the history.

I am so ready for spring now. We have another snow storm with 10 inches accumulation. This is what I need right now... some blooms and green grass. I am so tired to see white. Take care. Have a wonderful week ahead. And thanks for sharing.

Wow...those are great shot Tes. Every time I see some flower buds starting to pop-out, I get so excited. I know spring will be here soon (or another unexpected warm weather caused by el-nino) ;-)
