DJ, and I, just watched a show on the History Channel, about how the Grand Canyon was made. It was fascinating. Definitely one of the loveliest nature made landmarks of the world.

Amazing scenes with glorious colors and light! It's funny that I live in Arizona and have never been to the Grand Canyon. :D

Wow! These are truly stunning shots of one of America's most stunning views! What fantastic lighting you captured them in. I remember the first time I saw the Canyon in person, it took my breath away! Thanks for visiting my SS.

This is my part of the world. You would be surprised how many people who live in Arizona and have not been to the Grand Canyon. Sometimes we don't think things are special unless we have to go a long way to see them, I guess.

Who is sitting at the edge? :p

Great photos but I get nervous just seeing the guys sitting on the edge like that though it is something I would probably do to

My husband and I wept the first time we saw this beauty. It never diminishes its impact no matter how many times you see it.
