Ever since I was a child, I have always loved photography. So much so that my dad bought me an instamatic camera to carry around in our trips. Compared to todays Xbox , Wii and other gadgets, my instamatic was an inexpensive commodity to reward a child with, not to mention it's a skill-builder and a worth-while hobby. The only thing that throws my dad off was the cost of film, the developing and at the time, even the cube flash has to be paid for. Film and developing were not that cheap. I was limited to one film (and its developing) a month! I was happy with the arrangement.
Well, my favorite toy has evolved a lot since then! In the mid 90's, the advent of digital photography changed photography and photographers alike! It eliminated the cost of film and has limited the amount of bad shots from being developed. How cool can you get. The best part of which is digital photography allowed photographers to edit their photos. The con of this matter is the storage! Geez, if we can take limitless number of photos, why wouldn't we? I take photos a lot. I take photos of events and the places we visit. I take photos of my family, friends and even my kindergarten students.
flash drives for photographers that allow me to have something engraved on it. Personalized items are perfect for gift-giving.
Whether instamatic or digital, I, like many others am grateful for the invention of this gadget that gives us the gift of memory.
