Let’s talk jeans! U-huh, jeans, the popular denim trousers worn by many. Known as a fashion neutralizer. Jeans is a word that almost everybody understands. It encompasses any age, any race and practically all sorts of economic status –rich or poor –everybody wears jeans.
In the early 1920s, jeans was popularly known as the all around pants for the lower working class –and for a good reason. The pants proved its worth –very sturdy, built to last and most important of all, very affordable. Well, as with the quality of the pants, I should say, it’s true then and it is definitely true now. Except now, it’s not limited to the lower working class – it has slowly, but steadily climbed the ladder higher and now sits on the pinnacle amongst the upper social class. Comfort which is what the “jeans” represent is a universal language spoken by all.
Jeans have come a long way, and will undoubtedly remain popular because of its versatility. It comes in different cut and styles, even different degrees of darkness (or fadedness). Some people prefer loose fitting and comfortable which makes it practical for manual labor, then there are women's jeans that are form fitting to flatter the figure. It’s the pants for all and any age. The pants design for men, women, old and young.
I believe am not alone in saying it is one of the things in my closet that can be used all-year round. Jeans doesn’t choose a season. I wear my jeans with my corduroy jacket during winter and with a bright tank top during summer. Express jeans provide us with a lot of cuts and styles to choose from. I wear my jean leggings with longer blouses and my flare ones with short tank. I also love to combine colored jeans with bright-printed top creating a monochromatic style.
