Suitable Suits

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Express for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Fashion is as constant as the changing season. The sun dress days are slowly giving way to long-sleeve days. Fall is here and the air is beginning to be crisp and cool. Time to put out those fall coats out of the bin once again. I can’t wait to go shopping for good quality women’s suits. Yeap, you heard  right.. suits.

Although teachers have an image of dressing down to the utmost comfort –denims and school shirt (the nature of our job makes us move around a lot) more and more teachers appreciate dressing up to look professional and presentable. Until the innovation of comfortable, stretchy yet durable fabrics, the idea of wearing a suit while singing “Ring Around the Rosy” would have been ridiculous.. but not with today’s type of women’s suits –flawless fit, soft fabric and everything else that spells comfortable!  Additionally, suits nowadays are not limited to dark colors only (that would’ve been too drab a fashion when working with young children) there is a huge collection of colors and styles. I see a lot of my co-teachers wear dainty pale-colored suits such as pale pink and baby blue. Myself, I’d go for earth tones  such as beige and gray.

Personally, the idea of durable pairs of suits appeals to me. On top of giving me that fell-good feeling that boost my confidence, it also solves the eternal daily dilemma of thinking what to wear to work!  Dressing up to work –in whatever profession- helps in making a person successful in what he/she does.
